Transit Plans
Not everyone drives, walks, or bikes. Some choose or rely on public transportation. Space Coast TPO and Space Coast Area Transit work closely together to address these traveler’s needs, explore funding opportunities, and create transportation plans inclusive of all Brevard County’s residents and visitors.
The Space Coast TPO also coordinates with Space Coast Area Transit to produce plans that are consistent with other regional transportation plans; annually evaluates the Community Transportation Coordinator (CTC) to ensure that policies set by the Transportation Disadvantaged Local Coordinating Board (TDLCB) and the State’s safe practices are being adhered to, and that transportation plans include public transportation as an integral part of the overall regional network.
Advance 2035 Together: Transit Development Plan (TDP)
The Transit Development Plan (TDP) is a 10-year plan that guides the community investment in transit services. It identifies how to best serve the mobility needs of residents, employees, and visitors.
