Every four years our partners at the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) conduct an evaluation of the Space Coast TPO as part of their Transportation Management Area (TMA) Certification Review. The evaluation includes everything the SCPTO works on from transportation planning to public outreach to the financial health of the agency.
As part of this year's Federal Certification Review, the SCTPO will host a public meeting, 'Transportation Planning 101,' as an opportunity for those who live, work, or play in Brevard County to provide direct input on the transportation planning process. Public feedback is an essential part of our review. Learn more about the key functions of our organization and discuss your concerns. How are we doing? How can we improve?
Join us from 4:00 - 5:00 PM, at the Brevard County Government Center, in the Florida Room located in Building C, at 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Melbourne, FL 32940. A brief 15-minute presentation will begin at 4:00 pm, followed by a meet and greet with SCTPO staff and an opportunity to visit transportation planning learning stations.
