TPO to Hold Aurora Corridor Study Public Meeting – November 8, 2017

You are invited to attend a charrette for a study being conducted on Aurora Road by the Space Coast Transportation Planning Organization in coordination with Brevard County and the City of Melbourne.
A charrette is a hands-on public workshop in which community members, stakeholders, elected officials, decision makers, and professionals work together in a collaborate way to brainstorm and develop potential corridor alternatives.
Study Limits: Aurora Road from Wickham Road to Stewart Avenue
Study Purpose: To explore alternatives that improve pedestrian and bicycle facilities as well as address safety issues, traffic operations, and transit needs.
Meeting Purpose: To engage the public in a collaborative, hands-on workshop to develop new ideas that shape the future of the Aurora Road corridor, making it safe and comfortable for all road users.
