Contact: Kim Smith, Education & Safety Coordinator
Every road user deserves an opportunity to arrive at his or her destination safely. Many road users don’t know the laws that apply to our most vulnerable road users, bicyclists, and pedestrians. The State of Florida is near the top in bicycle pedestrian related injuries and fatalities and Brevard County ranks in the top 10 in the state. To inform Brevard residents on their duties and rights as a road users, the Space Coast TPO conducts many education programs throughout the year. Programs can be designed for motorists, bicyclists, pedestrians and are offered to any group.
