The Florida Department of Transportation will conduct a Public Information Meeting for the safety and operational improvement project at the intersection of State Road (S.R.) 5/U.S. 1 and Suntree Boulevard and along Suntree Boulevard from the FEC Railway to S.R. 5/U.S.1, in Brevard County.
As the result of a safety study conducted in 2014, FDOT proposes to alleviate crash issues in this area by constructing a second northbound left turn lane from U.S. 1 onto Suntree Boulevard and a corresponding second westbound receiving lane on Suntree Boulevard. An additional eastbound right turn lane from Suntree Boulevard onto U.S. 1, and drainage improvements are also proposed as part
of this project.
