Sarno Road Corridor Study – Closing Presentation
April 26 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
This study is exploring alternatives to improve the safety of all users of Sarno Road with particular attention being given to bicyclists and pedestrians. The study will also examine the intersection operations, and transit movements along the corridor.
A three-day planning charrette is being held to give the public an opportunity to work closely with planners and engineers to review existing conditions and develop potential enhancements to Sarno Road. This charrette will assemble key stakeholders to collaborate with the Atkins team in information sharing, iterative design proposals, feedback and revisions, organizing alternatives quickly.
Options are identified rapidly prototyped and reviewed, enabling informed decisions and saving months of sequential coordination. This format will allow the public to work alongside with our planners and engineers to develop solutions for the challenges facing their community.
