Official Ellis Road  SIS Designation

The Ellis Road PD&E was completed in October of 2015. One of the recommendations that came from the PD&E was to move the Strategic Intermodal System (SIS) designation off of US 192 and on to Ellis Road. The SIS designation change will improve access to the Melbourne International Airport and will make the Ellis Road project eligible to receive SIS funds. This should also help speed up the construction process.
