In fact, there’s an extra day this year to get outside, get that heart pumping and have 29 Days of Leap Year Fun!

From easy to strenuous, across all ages and abilities, these 29 featured Pathways will introduce you to the best of Brevard. Many are one mile or less, and a number of them can be combined for more challenging experiences. Nearly all of them are free. Many of our selections are wheelchair accessible and encourage those with low mobility to explore. It’s all part of the Pathways Project to identify and map options in an online interactive guide for Brevard. So come aboard – Find Your Path with us!

ROOSEVELT ELEMENTARY HOLDS NEIGHBORHOOD RIDE

Neighborhood Bike Ride Roosevelt Kids

Roosevelt Elementary in Cocoa Beach wrapped up their bicycle safety program with rides in neighborhoods around the school in January. These rides give students real life application of skills they have been learning in their PE classes the last several weeks through the Space Coast TPO’s Bicycle/Pedestrian Education Program.

Neighborhood Bike Ride Orientation

Coach Sirounis gave a quick review of bicycle safety skills they’ve learned before the ride. Special thanks to the Cocoa Beach Police Department for coming out and riding with the students!
